got a coat of Z2 on there now, over my first coat of Z5.

Too bad it will be a solid color of green in about 2 hours... only thing i hate about spring is the pollen, especially here in atlanta. pollen count was at 1,920 today.

You guys may have pollen count, but we have salt count out here It's been raining for the past 3 days straight here so the salt's pretty much washed away. Also, it's been in the upper 60's for a while and pretty much all till the end of this week. So far so good.

    Nice pics!

Well, I took my car in to get the front bumper repainted last year. The body shop owner was real good friends with my dad and one day when I went to go pick up my car he surprised me with them. They're painted, not decals.

its hard. extremely, very, very hard. if you do not like doing a lot of work, do not come. also if you're not very smart, dont come here either.

            unless you're majoring in managment.

but aside from how hard it is, i love it. i wouldn't have it any other way, really. if it was easy, it wouldn't be tech.

there's tons of really cool people and even more things you can get involved with. but no one's going to force you, if you want to sit in your room and play counterstrike all 4 years, no one will care.

and, despite what people say... there ARE some pretty smokin-hot girls here. the ratio of hot girls : busted girls has been logarithmically increasing since i've gotten here.

once you get here, only advice i can give you is to GO TO CLASS. EVERY DAY. i know it sounds simple but so many people skip, and if you miss one day's worth of material you're going to be absolutely lost unless you already know what they are teaching. Also, get out and try to participate in all the things the school sets up for people to do together, goto basketball and football games, etc etc.

if you like sports you'll love it, there are tons of intramurals and club sports, half the freaking campus lifts weights or runs or does SOMETHING at the sac...

... of course half the campus gets drunk on a weekly basis. wait did i say half? more like, *everyone*.

but in the end, tech is going to be whatever you make of it. it can be miserable or it can be the greatest 6 years of your life

if you want to see pictures of the GT autoshow i put them up on my website:

I'm not a big fan of work, but I do what needs to be done... And I'm not the smartest, but I can hold my own...

My major (for now) is mechanical engineering...

Oh yeah, any dorm suggestions for freshmen?

ME's pretty pimp i think. you'll get to do a lot of cool projects. fluid dynamics rox. thermo is extremely hard, as is electromagnetics. they call it emag, remag, managment.

as far as dorms... i lived on east campus in glenn, 0 floor. it was nice being really close to the stadium and skiles. its also much closer to technology square and the fraternaties, if that matters to you.

however i then moved to west campus my sophmore year, and i personally loved it much better. east campus is crowded, busier, RIGHT next to the interstate so its louder and there's a bit more traffic. west campus is more spaced out, much much quieter, and its right next to SAC and the SAC fields.

but freshman dorms suck no matter where they are sorry. if you can try and get in caldwell if you want west campus, they just remodeled them. in the end you have nothing to compare it to though so it wont matter. when i was in glenn i didn't think it was that bad, and really it's not. but compared to finally getting to move into the apartments or the suites, and getting your own room and own bathroom, well, frosh dorms just pale in comparison.

and i assume you're in the freshman experience program... if you're not, get in it now. i knew a few kids who came in as freshman and elected not to be in it and they were miserable.
