My Friend Has A 2002 Chevy Camaro Z28...Its AutoMatic...

He Took It To The DealerShip He Got It From...And Got Some Things Fixed...I Think A Valve Was Broken...Or Something, Not Sure...And When He Got It Back,

It Started To Redline When He Floors It...This Started Happening Recently...

AnyBody Have Any Idea Of What The Problem Is? Could The Dealer Put A Restrictor Or Something??

    Thanks

dude, whats the deal with your capitolization? Go back to school. Seriously.

Anyways, what did it used to shift at? AFAIK, its supposed to shift at nearly redline at WOT for those 4L60Es. I've never driven one, just my '93 Z, so I really wouldn't know how those things work exactly.
    my car:
'86 Caprice Classic. Soon to have a 350 crate motor. Shooting for 300rwhp.

    the project:
check the www for pics, but a '36 Chevy Master Sedan, MII front end, Jaguar IRS, '93 LT1 powerplant with plans for 350rwhp, and many many other goodies

Any ways about the capitalization, who cares, as long as its not all in CAPS cuz then the moderators will get p!$$ed, but my 1996 T/A shifts at 6200 stock. If you get a hypertech you can change shift point, but I wouldnt reccommend it, cuz that shift point is set up for the stock cam shaft. Just keep the shift points at the stock setting until you get a cam swap. Hope this helps.
        Later,

sounds like it could be a problem with the elec. pressure control......does it shift harder than it used to?? Bring it back.

Shifts at 6200 stock? Ummm....that's not stock lol. Stock shifts at 5700-5750 and a stock LT1 redlines at 5800 RPM. If you look at your tach to base shifting points, it's not as accurate.
