  • tuning the engine

I have a 91 trans am 305 TPI. Me and a friend were ready to adjust my timing, but we couldnt find a break to disconnect the tan and black striped wire from the distributor. I was wondering, is it possible to adjust the timing like this or do i need to buy a chip?

Other than that i have recently put headers onto my car, and did it myself. its really not that hard to do, if you want any tips or help, feel free to ask.

If anybody has any tips for me on tweating the engine at all, feel free to reply.

I'm not sure what to do about your timing, but what kind of headers do you have?

      Timing wire

It is located at about 11 o clock on the back by the firewall, usually tucked under the cowl. Look for a single pin connector, its round, and looks alot like the connector for the O2 sensor. It's hiding, you'll find it.
