What do you guys recommend for tires on a 99 Z28. My brother has about 37,000 on his origional Good Years and there pretty much shot. Do you recommend going with the stock 245\50's or going up to a 275\45? and what kind is best.

The biggest tire that can go on a stock 16x8 wheels(which is stock on a z28) is a 255-50-16

Tire rack
Standard size on the Z28 is 235/55 R16
optional size on the Z28 is 245/50 R16
that is a 16" rim, thus the R16
If he has an SS, it is different.. 275/40 R17
That is a 17" rim
