Can someone please point me into the right direction of a good aftermarket starter that I could put on my Formula? Mine is sounding like it is getting weak. Thanks!

You can get a factory LT4 starter from the usual discount GM parts sources for about $150. I have a CVR ProTorque starter, more powerful than stock, can be rotated into various mounting position to clear headers, etc. Cost about $150 from JEG's. They don't seem to show it in the catalog any more though.

        Thanks for the replies!

Fred, is the LT4 starter a direct replacement for the LT1 or do any mods have to be made to make it work out? Also if it would work do you happen to have a part number? Does it have more power than a stock LT1 Starter? Thanks!

Hey Fred, is the one that is on your car? If so which of these was the correct model #? Thanks!
