My gears are now installed and I finally had a chance to open it up. WOWOWOW.
you guys that said gears really wake up these cars, you werent lying! for the first time ever it broke the tires loose on the 1-2 shift. pulling out slow while leaving it in first then mashing the gas = instant gratification. When I got out of the car my legs were wobbly and I had to check my pants for skidmarks.
only downsides are they whine a bit and that I need to get the pcm redone. oh well, good reason to get pcmforless or madz28
it is funny watching the speedo gain speed so fast. 100 comes up in like 7 or 8 seconds.

It won't shift at the right speed if you don't have the pcm redone. You need to do that ASAP to rescale all the shift tables. It might be defaulting to the RPM tables to shift, but the MPH tables won't be working.

it seems to shift correctly, the speedo is just off. I think its off by about 25 mph in 4th. and yes I NEED to get the pcm done. I have inspection due tomorrow (actually it was today, oops) and dont know if that would pass.
