  • soooo much fun at school :)

i went to my old high school today to see some people and this kid louie has this civic that only has exhaust intake and all the regular ricer stuff and he parked next to me to say whats up, a bunch of people came by to say whats up so louie who has no clue what an fbody is (mine is basicaly the only one in town) revs his fartcan and smiles at me. i then rev mine as loud as i possibly can and DROWN his car out.
felt soooooo good, got rid of his smile in like half a second and everybodys like ohhhhh sh**t and everyone told him it was no point racing cause hed get his *** handed to him
    i love moments like that

Tyrael, let me warn you as an f-body owner. When you do get one, please be prepared for the power!! If I had one when I was still in high school, I would have killed myself. I was way too stupid to know. I drove a pathetic '93 Corolla with maybe 100 hp at the time. I took the thing to 110+ a few times....on the freeway with traffic. I did burnouts by going in reverse then slamming it into drive and flooring it. Not too smart. lol Would I have had the T/A at the time, who knows...I was just too immature for it. I'm not saying you're the same as me...just making sure you know these things have buttloads of power
So my advice is...get the f-body and drive it wisely when you first get it! Good luck with your search.

          Thanks man!

I have no idea how long it will be, if it's even an option, but one thing is for sure, You CANNOT get more power for your dollar outside of the F-bods! Owning my own car I was really anal about that, and tickets would not be a good thing. If I ever got/get one it would be my baby and I wouldn't push it any further than 10 mph over speed limit, and of course at red LIGHTS!

I wasn't lucky enough to own an f-bod at school. I did however have the biggest stereo system and a custom one of a kind candy cherry black paint job on my humble ford falcon at the time

My car in High School was a 1982 Saab 900 turbo. Ugly car but fun to beat on. Luckily My best Buddy had a 1977 TA Bandit look alike with absolutely ridiculous amounts of power and T-tops. Needless to say I was extremely jealous having loved TA's since I was a little kid. I was more than happy to relegate myself to the shotgun postion and ride with him most of the time. We had waaaaaaaaaaaay too much fun in that car and I'm honestly surprised we didn't kill ourselves or someone else (foolish kids).

after I get the engine swap done in my car (check the sig), I really want to get a set of headers and a cutout put in so I can do that to all the ricers at my school. One guy actually had his hood painted black so it would look like CF. Stuff like that is always going on at my school, and its really starting to piss me off
                    my car:
'86 Caprice Classic. Soon to have a 350 crate motor. Shooting for 300rwhp.

                    the project:
check the www for pics, but a '36 Chevy Master Sedan, MII front end, Jaguar IRS, '93 LT1 powerplant with plans for 350rwhp, and many many other goodies

My first car was a 1968 Pontiac Bonneville
its not too good looking but it ran good, sounded great, and had a beautiful interior. I also managed to squeeze a set of 275s in the back to make it have a pretty mean looking stance.
It had a 400 cid pontiac with 2.5" true duals and dynomaxes. loudest car at school
my school wasnt too big, from 7th-12th grade there was only about 220 kids so the variety of cars wasnt much. there was an S2000 there that would be the only car faster than my bonneville. I would KILL to go back in time and have my firebird in high school. I would have been king.

I still have the bonneville, but no insurance/tags as it sits rusting away
                      94 Firebird Formula LE3 383 - Built 4L60E w/ 3500rpm stall - Macs into SLP LM - 3.73s in stock rear - having fun with problems

I had my T/A when I was in high school. I lost best car to some jock who had a '99 Civic. Even though I could smoke hi car by 3 blocks I still lost. I was all decked out: rims, hood, exhaust, basically what you see in my sig - I still lost. I think it was rigged cuz the person who won was best friends with the student councel president who was in charge of the senior pole. I got so mad, on the last day of school I left a huge patch in the parking lot. The deans came flying out with their walkie talkies, I took off. Teehee! Bastards!

No fun at school with car were I grew up.

You had to be 18 to drive and I'm pretty sure even if we could drive they wouldn't have allowed us to come to school with a car.

If your distance was less than 1km to school you had to go by foot. If you were over you could use the bicycle or moped.

You were the king on the hill with a souped up moped with a 47cc two stroke engine that was only supposed to run 30 km/h. We made them go up to 65-70 km/h until the cops would catch you and take it away.
