I stopped by and looked at one today. I have to say, pretty sweet. I would really consider it for $34K. The GTO is mucho faster, but this is a real sweet driving machine.

A friend that works for Dahmler Chrystler told me about this quite a while back. Must be pretty cool to have an american luxury car with a legendary muscle engine under the hood!1996 Arctic White Z28, A4, K&N CAI, TByrne MAF ends, BBK Twin-52mm TB, TB Bypass, SLP 1 3/4" Shorties, Richmond 3.42's, Dynomax Bullet Muffler W/Turn Down, BMR Adj. Reminds me of the Green Hornet's car "Black Beauty".(Chrysler Imperial, circa 1966) Maybe more retro influence.

yeah i've seen that one before. Awesome looking car. looks almost like a bentley and has 340hp on tap as far as i can remember. only problem is it does look kinda bulky and heavy in the photos, but i guess we'll wait and see what it looks like in person to judge it.93 camaro Z28, A4 auto

In person, it looks almost Bentley in the lines as you walk up to it. My style would be to remove any badges except maybe the word "HEMI" in the front fender. Once you sit in it, you realize the high sill and window line. It's a really cool ride. As anything else, it could use more power. I'll bet a twin screw blower would make this a stormer.

If GM doesn't get moving on their RWD platform, I will be buying a Mopar next time which is really hard to believe...that I am contemplating moving to Dodge. It is bad enough that I am looking at the Dodge Ram Cummins because I absolutely (despise! despise!) the new front fenders and grill of the Silverado. It really looks like I will be buying the RAM in a couple of years...yikes!!! I never thought I would buy anything buy a Chevy or a Pontiac...oh well! I guess all things change...the '01&'02 Duramax diesels (the nice looking ones) will be too old for what I need when I am ready to buy...big sigh!my car:

its cool, because Cummins diesels are the best diesels on the market for the trucks (and even overall IMHO). Ford can say what they want about their 7.3 (?), but the Cummins 5.9 just stomps all over it. That's like a I6 goin up against a V8, and the 6 just laughing at the V8 when its done. Trust me, they have their stuff downpat, and its definetly the best motor out on the marketfrom the Chrysler Valaries(sp) and K cars I remember from the 70s and 80s. I no longer make fun of what they do, and really like some of it.
