Well, I was wondering what your opinions were on body style, both internally and externally, and other options (figured this is the only forum to give me an accurate answer). I never realized how easier it is to find a cheaper Z28 than it is to find a cheaper T/A.

Gotcha. Hey, could anybody point me in the right direction of a stats sheet for all years of Camaros and T/A's? I'm mainly looking at stock HP variency from year to year.my car:

If you were to take a...say 94' Camaro Z28, what would be the cheapest thing to do to increase the BHP? Also, was the SS introduced in 98'?

A cold air kit and cat-back exhaust is worth .3 in the quarter mile. That's maybe 20-30 horsepower in the LT1. The cost varies, depending on which brand(s) you buy. BTW, the '96 and '97 LT1s were "rated" at 285 hp, but the actual difference between any LT1 depends on the tolerances/tightness of each engine. The looser the motor, the less friction, the more power.
The SS was introduced on the 4th gen in 1996. Those cars were rated at 305 hp. They had a decent ram air kit, but the WS6 was far superior in terms of a straight shot of cold/ram air. On the 1998 LS1, the SS was rated at 320 hp, and in 2001, it was upped to 325 hp. Remember, those are factory advertised power ratings, not actual readings.94 Black T/A GT, Advanced Induction 355, 3200 stall, built 4L60E, Moser 9", Baer Brakes, Shooting for 11s...

98-00 LS1's -- 305 HP 335 TQ
01-02 LS1's -- 310 HP 340 TQ (not exactly sure on the TQ rating)
