  • Camaro Monsoon vs. Trans Am Monsoon

I just took a ride in my buddy's 99 Z28. I am a little miffed about one thing. Why does the 8 speaker Monsoon system in the Camaros sound better than the 10 speaker Monsoon system in the Trans Am?

It really is quite a difference, the bass especially has a lot more power in the Camaro.

I've noticed that too when I was working for a chevy dealership in the used car department. I was jelous at first of the fact that the Firebirds had two more speakers and more power, but the sound definitely seems better in the Camaro's. I dunno...maybe it's the head unit?
