help with aftermarket cd player install with monsoon amp
I bought an aftermarket pioneer cd player and am looking to install it tomorrow. my question is, how does the cd player integrate with the factory monsoon amp? will everything work ok. I do not want to do any damage. i bought the proper wire harness, but i know my cd player is 4 ohm and the monsoon is 2 ohm. please help. anyone out there install an aftermarket head unit while keeping everything else stock?

I just put in an alpine 9815 in to my T/A and it has the monsoon system in it. It doesnt do anything to the system, still sounds fine. but if you are going to go and change your speakers you will have to run new speaker wires from the deck since after market speakers are not compatible with the monsoon amp. but just changing a head unit will not do anything. Oh yeah you might have to get an antenna adaptor i had too. the plug is smaller.
