  • Sparkplug replacement in 98+ Trans Am

Can anyone on this Board provide some insights regarding any special problems/concerns regarding sparkplug replacement in the late model (98+) LS1-equipped F-bodies?

Are any special tools needed? Any special procedures?

Any advice regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

All you really need to change your spark plugs is time. It can be a task for sure but it's really not that bad of a job.

It is nowhere near as bad as LT1 cars. Check out www.ls1howto.com or www.intalluniversity.com

I think one or the other or both have step by step instructions on how to do the plugs. I changed mine(98 T/A) in what seemed like no time.
