Super Chip Programmer
Is superchip the best programmer out there for the 2001 LS1 T/A? It's the only one that states it will add 32 hp increase, how true is that?

You will not get 32 hp from a "plug-in programmer". The LT1's came from the factory a little rich and could see 15-17 hp with a leaned up tune, but the LS1 are fairly on the money as far as the tuning is concerned.
The programmers are useful though for such things as manually setting shift points, engine temp fan turn on, shift firmness, clearing codes, and advancing the timing.
