I always make my runs in 4th gear/D. This is also what I've read is the best way to do it. This was done in my 95 formula(2.73s) and my 96 Z(3.42s). Don't try to maually shift it the 4L60E does an excellent job. Post your times....Good luck!

look where your shifter is located, if you have a selection for 1st gear, they are 3.23's, if you only have 2nd, 3rd, and drive, you have 2.73's.95 Trans am-3.73 posi, 1.6 rollers, cold air induc. flowmaster, no cat.'s, power programmer w/ 160 degree stat, torque arm, bbk underdrive pulley, 52mm throttle body.Comment
