  • New rims and tires

New rims and tires will be on the way soon. With the new set I would like to have them balanced propperly, not with the clamp on weights commonly used. I can't find anyone around here that does that. If anyone knows of a shop that can balance using those stick on wieghts in the Central Mass area it would be much apreciated.

I've never seen a decent wheel shop that didn't carry both the clip-on and stick-on weights. It's very easy to use the stick-on with the 4th Gen wheels because of the huge offset/backspace.

As Fred said, just ask for a "static balance" when you go in to your favorite tire place.

I like Mr. Tire, they don't give me any grief about being in the pits with the mechanics when their mounting/balancing my tires. Also, insist that they put the lug nuts on BY HAND, and torque them down using a torque wrench, NOT A impact gun!!!
