sorry, but what is a "regular stock replacement" filter? Will the Cold Air Intake system for a F-body work on a Caprice? I don't think so. However, I would suggest searching for intake systems for Impala LT1 cars, as they have more aftermarket parts instead of the Caprices, even though they are the same thing. There are some good Impala forums on the internet as well, so do a search for them. The only Caprice forum I could find was on Automotiveforums.com, which isn't a proper forum, but its good for some questions that don't need to be answered immediately.
    my car:
'86 Caprice Classic. Soon to have a 350 crate motor. Shooting for 300rwhp.

    the project:
check the www for pics, but a '36 Chevy Master Sedan, MII front end, Jaguar IRS, '93 LT1 powerplant with plans for 350rwhp, and many many other goodies
