Don't worry... a little spray-can rubberized undercoat and it looks just like new.
You do need to get the correct wheels. The AFS ZR1/Grand Sport replicas, 17x11 with 50mm offset (7.93" backspace) are the ones that will keep the tires just barely under the fenders.
