You mean the cold air intake?
I can't speak to this part, but I do have the 58mm TB and I'm VERY impressed with the craftsmanship of it...the CAI unit looks like a nice a piece, hopefully the put as much thought and detail into it as they do with their other known performance products.
I would probably purchase it, worry free.

I had that CAI from AS&M on my 95 Z28. I was also very impressed with the craftsmanship. its looks much better than the all plastic CAI in my opinion. It was a very nice unit comparing it to my other friends plastic CAI. plus the chrome pieces made it stand out a lot more. I sold the unit when I purchased my ram air hood with functional air box.
