underdrive pulleys

Hi Yall Im looking at my new Summit cad. Motorvation has a crank pulley they say will give you 15 HP & better gas mileage for $52.95 What are the Pros & cons. Go for it or not 15 HP for $52.95 cheap. Thanks

They are about one decimal off in that "estimated power gain." You are more likely to gain 1.5 hp, if you're lucky. www.ws6.com gained .7 horsepower from a Hypertech underdrive pulley. Don't forgot that our LT1 water pumps are driven directly by the cam, rather than the belt. So, you're not freeing up too much....just making the alternator power output slightly decrease. Not worth it IMHO.
