    im getting my lt1 and t56 for a 97 camaro next week for my 69 chevelle and i can across a few questions i need to know about!!

    1. Does it have a coded key
    2. With the 4 o2 if i have no cats will it screw up the computer
    3. how much afect will porting the stock heads have

      2. put simulators in the 2 post cat sensor areas
      3. if with a cam it can make awesome power

        1. I don't know what the heck a coded key is.
        2. Go with the rear sims you'll be fine.

        There's a couple guys running around making custom cams for lt1's. Get a set of stock castings ported, and flowing good, and you can make some good power on the stock bottom end. There's a few running around making 450+ at the rear wheels with decent heads and a custom cam.

          I think he is refering to the VATS system, with the resistor in the ingition key?
