time for new tires

it is about time for me to get some new tires and i would like some advice...right now i have michelin xgt z4 245/50/16 z rated that i am very happy with but i am wondering what are some other real good high performance tires that are good in the rain and dry paivement....

Firestone Firehawk SZ50EPs or BFG G-Force KDW. These seem to be some of the best out there. Too bad I can't afford them for my new ZR1 wheels. They get very pricey for the 315/35/17s I need for my rears. They're reasonably priced for your size though. Check www.tirerack.com for a good price on these.
