Will a 99 buick regal monsoon cd player work in a non-monsoon 97 T/A?

I dont think it will because the monsoon system uses an external amp for its speakers. It does not have an internal amp. Normal systems have a head unit with an internal amp. So if you put that monsoon in you will not have any amps supplying power to the speakers. Im no expert on the factory systems.
