TA's first time at the track

Took my 96 WS6 M6 to Cecil County's strip the other day. I was pleased but know there is a lot of room for improvement.
Best ET 13.97 @ 103.51, and that came on a 2.4 60 foot. I know, I know that 60 foot is crap. Managed a 2.26 60 foot once, but committed the biggest sin, I missed third!!!
Next time I will be looking for a 13.8 or maybe better. My only mods are BBK headers and flowmaster muffler.
What is possible on street tires for the 60 foot?

a 2.2 60 ft doesnt seem bad at all! With normal street tires (not DR's) I don't think you'd be able to nail a 2.0 or lower without a miracle.

Ryan, glad to hear you made it to the track. I hit a 2.0x 60' pretty routinely in my 88 GTA and that was with 245 street tires, but an automatic. When I get to go, I'll be happy with anything in the 13's.
