Right now I have a saginaw 4 speed tranny that I have rebuilt. I want to upgrade to a 5speed, but, I am worried that when my engine is all together that if I miss a shift once, or grind it once, the torque that I am going to be putting out is just gonna tear the gears appart....
I PLAN on putting out about 450hp at the flywheel, and about 400 at the wheels.
That and what else will I destroy? the U-joints? the rear if I hook up?
