Is it possible your Chevelle originally had a V6 and the V6 motor mounts are wrong?Tracy

According to Hot Rod, they needed to fabricate the motor mounts on their LS6 Chevelle project. If they had to do this with an LS6, you are probably looking at something very similar with an LT1.

I'm thinking the LT1 should bolt right in with the correct V8 motor mounts.Tracy
