Hey guys. I have a question that I hope someone can help me out with. I have a '97 TA with the Eibach pro kit and I was looking into getting some Jet Hot LT's for my car. I've heard that clearance can be an issue but I wanted to know if anyone had this setup or something similar that could give me some insight. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've done several long tube conversions on LT1 cars. Generally, it's not the headers that cause problems. The off the shelf Y pipes are the biggest headache. The only time I've been satisfied is with a custom fabbed Y pipe from a reputable exhaust shop.

I read in Super Chevy that TPIS headers dont have ground clearence problems, even on lowered cars. They are also very good performing and install easily. If I ever go LT, TPIS is what I'm going with. HTH
