I may be going if I'm off that weekend, and a friend of mine always has his car in the show (a black 96 SS). Camaros at Carlisle is part of the all GM Nationals June 18th-20th. I live about 2 miles from the fairgrounds... if anyone wants info on some backroads to the fairgrounds so you don't have to sit in traffic half the day, let me know.

I'll take that info also. My fiancee's parents live about 1/2 hour south of Carlisle and we're always out there, so it's very easy to swing up for the GM Nats.

          Cars at Carlisle Website

The above link takes you to the official website, it'll have a brochure in pdf format you can look at that will give you a list of the events at the GM Nationals. They have the standard directions on their website as well as some alternate directions, but here is what I've found to be the best.

If you're coming from the north via 81: Exit at 49 (High Street), turn right at bottom of exit. There will be a Weis Markets on your right, the first cross street after that should be East Street. Turn right onto East street. At the second light you'll go straight, onto Clay street. The Fairgrounds is on the right. If you can't get in at Gate 1, turn right onto Spring Road and try gates 2 or 3 on your right. A number of homes in the area let you park in their yards for $5.

If you're coming from the south via 81: Same as above but you'll have to exit at #48 (York Road). Turn left at bottom of exit. Go straight until you hit a "T" intersection, turn left onto High street at this intersection. From there it is the same as above.

Avoid the turnpike and Route 11 at all costs or you'll be sitting in traffic literrally for hours to move a few miles, depending on the time of day. If you have to use the turnpike, I suggest following one of the turnpikes alternate routes on the website.

Hope this will help you guys out, and maybe I'll see ya there!
