Mapquest used to have the feature that when you looked up an address you could see a sattelite photo of it just like that... zoom in and out etc... scary how close they can get. I think mapquests could zoom in even further, but I think they got rid of that feature.

The MapQuest sattelite photos were great... you could zoom in on individual buildings.

I put my address in the terraserver site, and the aerial photo had the "pin" in the wrong location - although is was on the correct street, and the topo map was for a location about 2 miles away?????

it depends on where you live. Macon, GA was last photographed in 99, they are black and white; the place I lived in SC was last photographed in 95 or so, very bad quality pics. Some of the metro areas are color, and the recently photographed places are color as well.

Anyone see their F-body in their driveway or something? The pics of my house are b&w so I can't tell...

Did you see the episode of Viva la Bam where they camped overnight on that little island just north-west of the plant?

I worked the day they taped that epsisode. thanks to MTV we had to have extra patorls and a heightened alert because knowing MTV and viva la bam, we were afraid they were going to try to sneak send someone onto the island, climb the fence naked, or something stupid like that....
