I am in the process of putting in a new transmission filter and fluid. My only problem is that I can't get the old filter o-ring out. A tech book I have says to just use your finger but I tried and it is is there pretty good and won't budge for anything. Any quick tips or suggestions? I am stumped on this one. I have no idea what to do/try.

I finally got it. I finally got the o-ring about half-way out with a paper clip but it got stuck again so I put the old filter back on, tilted it, and it came right out with the filter. Thanks for the help, I was about [ ] this close to just giving up on it.1991 Chevy Camaro RS (Is it plum or purple?)
