  • Smoked a Stang 2day

Alright I leave my house to go get some new shoes, and when i get to the store i find out that they have gone out of businesss. So I leave the parking lot and pull out onto the road. All of a sudden this 96/97 4.6L Mustang (exhaust and proly other basic mods)comes up right next to me. I just start laughing and then he starts reving and more reving at me!!!!!!I'm just like ok, its time to show this kid the business. I give him a nod and let him take off first from like a 25 roll or so. I drop the T/A into 2nd and its cya later aligator. Smoked the mess out of him, im easily like 10 cars infront of him in seconds and so i slow down. And then he starts reving at me more!!!! We finally ketch a light and the light turns green and i let him launch first then i go and its cya again and dont look back. and he never came up next to me again until i turned off the road like 3 miles up.
LOL LOL LOL it was hilarious

but its the worst, when you can see someone in your rear view mirror following you. All of that just to get smashed into the ground. One of the worst people in my town for racing is my dad. He gets behind of the wheel of the formula and he makes it a hunt for every kid that needs to be taught a lesson. The only loss weve had was a 1969 Camaro 396

              easy

Good Kill purepwrta! I'm sure when you was doing this stuff it was in the best conditions, no endangerment to others, and so on.... You know what I mean. Most of us end up doing this illegal racing stuff, but you got to have a good head on your shoulders to know when not to.... Anyway, now that I've expelled my wisdom on you, I know how you feel when you let the guy take off a bit from you, so that you can destroy him later. Its like you feel bad for the guy after beating him so bad, so you let him win a little at first, but then you realize what am I doing, I got to beat this guy.... I did the very same thing one time.... Good story too... Here is how it goes.

              - When I still had my 99' Z28 m6, we would always go cruising in Paducah, KY (Ricers galore).... Anyway, we was sitting in the parking lot just talking, and this Audi Twin Turbo A4 pulls up and starts talking trash. I'm a very laid back guy, and I take it in good fun. They tell me the car is pushing 350hp because of some chip or something... I kinda grin, because I know the car stock pushes around 240 or so (being generous).... Of course the car is AWD, so he will have a good launch ability. I listen to the banter for quite some time, before everybody start hearing whats going on. Then the frenzy begins. It didn't help me either that the back of my car had a Sticker that said "Import Killer"... lol... I'm such an instagator... Anyway, I decide to race the guy, but ask that we go to a Industrial district, away from traffic and housing. Everybody follows us out. We line up for the first run, and we go on 3. I could hear his four banger revving really high with a little bit of turbo wine. Of course I was louder because of my MAC mid-length headers, Y-pipe, no secondary cats, and SLP loud-mouth exhaust. Very Loud needless to say. Anyway, we drop hard for the first run, and he sticks the launch perfect, but I was able to get good traction too and stay beside him. Then he misses 2nd gear something Horrible... you could smell the burning transmission.... I pull-away easily.... We come back and he wants another shot at it... I say okay... The 2nd run was exaclty like the first, I figured his clutch would not last much longer if he did it again, but he wanted a 3rd run. Same result, he misses 2nd again.... Now, I feel really bad for the guy, considering everybody is watching... So we go a 4th time. This time, I don't even rev the engine up for take-off, I just sit their at an idle. Big mistake. The guy sticks the launch, and it basically looks like his car just materializes 2 car lengths ahead of me in one instance.. I'm like oh crap, I have to play catch up... Well, after shifting into 2nd he stops pulling away, and when I go to 3rd I start to over take him. Put it this way, I blew by him so bad, it was like he was standing still... by the time I hit the top of 3rd, he must have been 15 cars back from the look of his headlights.... When I got back to the parking lot, everybody was like why didn't you drop it off the line... I just looked at everybody and said it didn't matter did it. The end result was the same. They just laughed, and after that, Ricers didn't bother me much. Basically the moral of the story is this, show no mercy. LOL.....

              Keep it Safe bro!

This all makes me ponder the question of, weather it is more fun smoking an import or a stang. I love doing both but there is one that is much much funner. I love smoking older guys like age 40's or 50's that cant drive to save there souls with there vettes/benz/bmw's that they think are all quick and bad a$$ or young kids show up next to me in a v6 maro, then ya show them the real business.mmm i think that is the most fun.

For me there are different kinds of fun.... the "it was a great race and I just pulled it out" kind of fun against another performance car, and then there's the "I wiped the dumb-azz smile from that kid's face" kind of fun when you smear that rice boy who's been buzzing around you like a bee thinking he's all hot with his girl in the car.

Two different kinds of fun, and I don't think I could pick one over the other!

Yea true. This may be a little off subject but it has to pertain to the line of when somebody is acting lot a hot shot with their girlfriend in the front seat. Well anyways, me and my friends were at McDonalds a few weeks ago just chilling in the parking lot and this car pulls up with 3 gangbanger looking kids and 1 girl which was normal looking. Well anyways they start laughing at us and talking trash but me and by buddies awho are pretty big kids just let them talk and talk. While they are leaving they call us some profanities and we are just like ok were showing these kids the business. We hope into my frinds Mercury Mountaineer and drive over the curb and sidewalk to catch up to these hulligans. We catch a light and me and my buddy jump onto the road and walk up to the car and all of these kids immediatly lock all the doors, close the windows and the sunroof. They are completly freaking out cuz they werent expecting this from some normal looking white kids in polo shirts. Then me and my buddy start punch the windows but by the time we got around to tat the light had turned green and the kids were trying to take off, and we just went back to McDonalds. So I guess the moral of the story is dont mess with people you dont know and if you do you just might make yourself look like a moron infront of some girls.

You could take your own lesson.... you were taking a chance by going after these "gangbanger" looking kids. You don't know them, or what they have in the car! Sorry to sound like an old fart, but you were setting a bit of a double standard there.

I agree with Dave M. These wanna be thug/gangbanger kids are just the kind of cowards that will have a gun cause they know they can't back up their trash talking with their fists. Funny to scare the heck out of these punks though, especially in front of their girl. Hahahahaha......I'm sure she no longer thinks they're "hard." Later
