it might be a scam or it might not be... i look at cycletrader.com all the time and have found deals that good or almost as good. I would definatly go to the pace and see it in person... the money you save on a bike like that is worth the plan ticket and cab fare! but then again it could be a scam and he could be baitin yah... go to yahoo or hotmail and creat another address just to see what the deal is and if hes serious or not. Or if you are in the market then just go to cycletrader.com and youll find some good deals there. happy huntin!!

I emailed the seller and this is the response I got. The fact that he wants awire transfer and wants to do it fast is a big hint that he is probably shady. I dont know of any way to protect yourself with a wire transfer, but if someone wants it, he is ready to make a deal. And its would cost 500 bucks or more to ship something like that from overseas and according to him, that cost is included in the 2500 purchase price. Something stinks and it not my @$$.

Anytime someone from overseas is asking for a wire transfer, and wants it fast, on a high-dollar item that's underpriced, you WILL get burned. There is no way to protect yourself. The "seller" is gambling on people's impulse habits.... the bikes great deal and you have to make a desicion quick!! Impulse buying at it's worst. There are scams all over ebay like this one.... you send that money order, you will never see that bike.
