hi there im new here but i got a question i have an 87 trans-am gta but the radio is fubar so i wanna replace it with a from a 4th generation trans am is this possible ? does it fit

fits just fine...had a 92 GTA and got a CD reciever from a 98 TA back in 2000...harness and everything are the same, it'll be fine...just plug and play baby!
Oh wait...the brackets are a lil off so you'll have to drill some holes so you can screw the receiver in place...other than that...enjoy.
