  • Mr.Clean car wash system

Has anyone tried this. It is new on the market. We have very hard water here in tampa and therefore many water spots.I don't want to mess up the 15 coats of zaino just use the filtered rinse.

Some guys in south Florida rave about the rinse. Black cars too. The wash can be anything, it's the rinse that makes the difference. The filter is supposed to last 10-15 times, it seemed kinda expensive for me though considering how many times I would have to use it. Down here we get a menace called love bugs. These two black bugs are joined at the rear and fly together as a pair. As you drive they can be so thick that literally hundreds splatter all over the paint. The bad part is their blood contains an acid that if left on the paint, will eat right through the paint right down to the metal. Down here we get them twice a year for a couple of months at a time. No predators will touch them due to the acid in their blood either. Daily washings are mandatory.

the wash system is great...if u only wash ur car like twice a month..4 times or more it gets a bit expensive esp if u are really anal about hosing it down...it says itl last 10-15 times but u are really running on hours u have to think of the filter life in minuets instead of wash's because a typical wash could take someone 2 mins to hose off there car..where it takes me a little longer

this thing does do wonders though..even in parker AZ with there horribly hard water

K R A P!! (for black cars at least ) i got this system and used it on my car in the shade n a 70 degree day and it took over an hour to dry, left spots everywhere, and when i ran my hand over me car their was a wierd residue! but i used it on my friends gree tarus and it looked great! i do however like the idea of using pure filtered watter to rinse. but if you have a black car just stick with zaino or meguires, especailly if you pay extremely clse attention to detail.

I remember I went out with my mom and dad a few weeks ago, and I was driving at like 55mph, and you know the sound dirt makes when it gets stirred up on he road and hits your windshield? Yea, multiply that sound by 10, and thats what it sounded like. When we got home, I would bet that there was (no exaggeration) 500 lovebugs on the front of the car

I absolutely, positively LOVE IT. It is the best thing I have ever used for washing my car. I have a white car with t-tops, and let me tell you, not one spot anywhere -- not even on the windows!

The filter, it says about 10 uses, but it really depends on how hard your water is. I get about 6-7 uses out of mine.

I wash my car once a week, no questions asked. When I am done, it shines like pure chrome. We're talking about a glass finish here folks.

Now, having said that, it is no substitute for waxing. YOU MUST STILL WAX.

I look at it this way. Yes, it is a bit expensive -- but its a small price to pay to get a TERRIFIC SHINE that really makes people ask you how in the hell did you get your car looking so good!

Yep, that's familiar. Just so everyone knows, their blood is a yellowish color. That means those 500 bugs just coated the front of a black car in yellow, almost as thick as a flame job. Pretty disgusting. To me it sounds like really heavy rain on a clear day.

I haven't used it yet, but I have a buddy who has a Black 98' VR4 and he says it works great. I need to investigate further, I also have a black car, and I can not stand water spots.....
