wheres button for automatic trunk opener?

my gf has an 86 camaro Iroc-z, its not in the best shape but it runs (barely) and it has the automatic hatch opener thing, i looked and i could find where the button is?! or if there isnt a button how do you do it? like i said, 86 iroc... any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

dude, i think its just when u put the key in and open it, it automatically pops up instead of u having to open it yourself. I have an 81 and thats what mine does.

I have an 88 Camaro and there isn't a button for the trunk there is just a motor (mine isn't there but its suppose to be there) its like a cadilac...
all u have to do it push it down and then the motor pulls the trunk the rest of the way down. but there is only a lever for the hood not for the trunk.

on ours..

on ours, its between the window switches on the center console. don't know if z28s and irocs have the same interior.

I have a 86 firebird, there's no button its is set up for people who don't want to slam the truck lid and helps with the sealing (note the compression when you shut a door or truck it is eliminated with the power trunk )

yeah man mine is the same but mine doesn't have the motor anymore and I don't know where to find one and it kinda sucks cause I have to take it down manualy everyonce in a while
