  • clutch noise

I replaced my clutch with one from SLP (PP, thowout bearing, and disc) and now it makes a light clicking noise. Almost like a little exhuast leak. It goes away when I disengaged the clutch. Anyone know of this noise?

    Thanks

Don't beat on the clutch as it needs to be broken in. If you have a kevlar clutch, do not be alarmed if it chatters. This will die down as the clutch disk, flywheel, and PP wear in. You may also hear your TO bearing when the clutch is out, this is normal.

Driver it around for the weekend, that should be enough.

i get the same thing from my clutch when i release it when not in gear, it sounds like it chatters but when i press it again the chattering goes away. This has been happening for months now and i have no clue as to what it is.
