Air Bag Dash removal

Anyone know how to take out that sqare piece where the passanger airbag deploys(where it says SRS)? I got as far as taking the glovebox out and seeing up in there...is it a simple job or will it involve ripping the enitre dash off?

I'm pretty sure you can't without cutting it off. I think its all one piece just the square is only attached by a really thin layer of whatever material it is so unless you cut it I don't think you can

i just did air bags in my camaro, and you have to replace the entire dash sub assembly from door to door. it lists out for 735 at the dealer and with my discount it was 550. it takes a good 4~5 hours, and it takes a lot of patience
