cloudy here..but should burn off.
watched the news last night about the goings on at the WWII memorial. surprised my dad didnt come up here for it, having been a fighter pilot in wwII...silver star, purple heart...... he said he just couldnt deal with the crowds. ill wait till he comes up here and take him downtown to see the memorial. its quite moving.
the viet nam and korean war memorials are very moving.......
i just cant believe this country waited this long to do the wwII memorial. that was the most significant war we ever fought..and so many died.......so many unsung heros...... so many that are dead now and never got to see the memorial in honor of what they did.
