  • NFB: My Saturday purchase

I've heard such good thing about them, so when I found out our local small town O'Reilly Auto Parts carried it I had to go check it out in person.

I'm talking about the AutoXray EZ-Read 2000. $214, but worth every penny. I spent most of the evening just playing with it on my (and the neighbors!) cars.

Cool little tool for the car hobbyist....

It comes with Ford, GM and Chrysler OBDI cables... it comes with a "Special" Mfg. ODBII cable for the "odd years" of GM when they had the OBDII connector for the OBDI system. It also comes with the standardized ODBII cable.

It's internet upgradable through a serial cable (extra $29 purchase) and comes in a very sturdy carrying case.
