The car is a 98 Trans Am with a borla catback and whisper lid as the only mods. I'm leaving work yesterday and as i'm pulling onto the highway it becomes hard to steer. It felt like the power steering was out so I pulled over and checked the fluid and belts and everything looked ok. I'm thinking the pump is bad. Any thoughts on anything else it could be and how much this may end up costing.

The pump is about $65 from Autozone. Rent the PS pulley puller while you are there.
Takes about 2 hours. I did mine on Saturday. Peice of cake.
