  • Side View mirror fitment...

Is fitment a word?? Anyway, hehe.....I am looking to replace my sideview mirror that I borke scraping ice off of it. I found one at a local salvage yard, but they say it is off of a '95 model. Will a mirror off of a '95 fit on my 2000? They want $75 for it, which is cheaper than from the dealer, they want $132. If anyone can tell me if this would work, please do. Thanks guys!

no problem. The mirror glass is the same part number from 93 - 02... According to the book it is adhesive backed. You simply break out the old one completely, and adhere the new one.

    Piece of cake!

Well, I would do that, but the glass isn't the problem. One of the cables pulled loose from the back of the mirror, taking a chunk of the plastic with it. So the whole shebang has to be replaced. Sucks to be me. Anyway, I think I may just go with a brand new one....more reliable that way.
