Question abour headers

My question is on some edelbrock headers. I have the opportunity to pick up a pair of haeders for my camaro but was wondering how hard it would be too install them. I have heard stories that i will need to lift the motor in order to get them in because the fit is too tight. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

On a 3rd gen, it shouldn't be too hard to install some headers. You shouldn't have to lift the motor at all unless you have some old or saggy motor mounts. But, since you're getting shorty headers, it shouldn't be a problem at all. The driver side will be fairly easy but the passenger side is going to be kind of a pain since you got the AIR system and AC to negotiate with.
