hey Jeff, I'm in need of a new axle shaft...

do you have any shops that you recommend? I want to get it fixed but wouldn't mind paying for a good shop doing good work.

Anyone else in the Atlanta area, please let me know...

    Thanks...

If your handy enough to do brakes, you should be able to do the shaft yourself and save some $$$. A shop would get at least an hour or two in labor to do it - probably $100. If you have a jack and some hand tools youre all set. Just my $.02

      Hey Chris,
I don't know of a place for the labor. Any shop could do it. It's not a hard job. I would recommend doing it yourself if you have a place to do it. I know 2 places for the parts and repair like Atlanta Gear and Doraville drive lines but they don't do labor. I do know a place for engine work if needed. My neighbor works for a place that builds race car engines. He just re-did the head on my wife's mini van.

This is not the place. I must have the wrong name. The place I am thinking of is in Smyrna off of South Cobb and 285.

            It is a really....

easy fix, there are several how to's online. I got my last one from Billy Grahams, he guaranteed it to be straight, and it was alot cheaper.
