The bulbs have water in them? Do you mean the housings have water in them, not the bulbs?

I've never seen an actual glass light bulb get water in it.

I know on a Camaro, there is a trim panel under the nose on each side that need to be removed, then the signal light housings are accessible from inside. The firebird is most likely similar.

        Anyone else have better details??

its true there is a panel underneath the front and then you have to reach up and get it from the inside which is a pain. i think it would be easier to drive up on ramps so you could get under and see it but its sure wierd to design a car where you have to go thru all that for a little light bulb!!

put the car on jackstands there ars small panels to remove then you shoulb be able to get to the light housings...I was able to replace mine from the top I turned the lights on and was able to see the housings with long arms it is still a pain and I have the scars to prove it but it can be done

I did the same on mine. Turned the light up, removed the cover around the light and reached down in there.

I doubt though it works on the newer ones (98+).

But why did they leak in the first place? Have you determined that and fixed it?

We get a lot of big rain storms down here in South TX and my front drving light/blinker lenses would always fill up with water too. As soon as the hot glass of the light bulbs would touch the water, POP!

I got tired of replacing bulbs every month, so I just pulled the lenses out and drilled about 4 small 1/4" holes in the bottom of the lens and re-installed them. The small holes are completely hidden and I never had standing water in them again.
