if you own an Impala, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Regal, LeSavre, Park Av. with a 3.8L v6 (RPO Code L36)

GM just released a Customer Satifaction Program bulletin, number 03034 tittled "Engine Coolant Leak".

many of these cars (i have the vin spread..too lengthy to post here..you can email me and i can verify your vin if ya want) have a condition which the coolant may leak at the upper manifold throttle body gasket or upper intake manifold to lower intake manifold gasket. the three throttle body fastener nuts need to be replacedad also they add cooling system sealant to the radiator..(i dont care for that fix.........)

anyway... call your dealer if you have this conditon and get it fixed free...in warranty or not......

if you have had it done..and paid for it...having the upper intake manifold/gasket , throttle body nuts, or tbody gasket replaced... get a copy of the bill..... reimbursement will be handled by the GM Customer Assistance Center, not by the dealers. there is a form you can get, ask your dealer to get you one... fill it out and follow the instructions. the dealer SHOULD help you.
