  • 36,000 miles this morning.

Well, the warranty is officially over. 36,000 miles passed by on my way to work this morning.

I guess all that really means to me is that I am now going to have to start factoring in window motor replacement costs into my yearly budget...

My '98 hit 24K on 6/8 on my return from Myrtle Beach.

Overall gas mileage on trip 30.5 mpg. Best gas mileage on trip: 33.7 mpg.

Out of warranty 3 years ago. No serious problems to date.

You have absolutely no excuse now not to molest the LS1 and unleash the madness!

This is sooo true!!! I am strugling with mine right now, I just dont have the motivation to take the door apart and go through the hastle of replacing them. I never said I was smart because right now I am pulling up the last 3-4 inches and 5 mins for the window to go up. One day......

Yeah... my situation is about the best situation I have ever heard of for making crazy mods.

Single. Live-at-home. Right out of college. High paying commission sales job... damn...

It is very, very realistic that I have the car in the shop to do heads/cam, 383 stroker, clutch, 12 bolt, 3.73s, 11.5 inch wide rims and 315s as early as next April. Possibly the ATI D-1SC too... this board needs a 700 rwhp car

They are telling me to fully expect the income that they have been advertising... and, if I'm good (and I certainly consider myself more capable than the average guy) close to 6 figures. It would be like winning the lotto.

Oh, and by the way... I got the insurance worked out. It isn't nearly as expensive as I thought it was. GOOD NEWS! I can afford to continue to drive the car this summer!

The question now becomes 383 or 427?

                  muhahahahahaha...
