    The Car

Im looking into that car, i have a 1995 Z28 with 86000 on it almost. I have no problems with the car, engine or transmission. You name it, it works fine, other than the rear end gears were set up wrong so i have a howl but other than that, perfect running order.

Im looking into a 6 speed now. This one has 88,000 miles on it, which is similar to mine. The 6 speed would lead me to think it was beaten upon though, which isn't a good thing, I know you all will say go test it out and i will tomorrow. But how much can i offer this guy if he wants $7000. Its worth about $6300 on the blue books.

What would be a good offer and is this high mileage, i see transmission rebuilds for about $150 and i know the engine should be pretty good still at 88,000 and if the guy claims it saw no winters and it really didn't, hopefully he took care of it well. What do you all think?

isn't lancaster notorious for street racing???

88K isn't that bad...at least not for me...LT1's are strong. If it was regualer maintained...it'll be fine.

question is....how bad were those 88K?
