Question about scan master.

The Scanmaster is a stand alone product that will display many (21) computer modes for tuning and also display and clear trouble codes.

So can this thing actually tune your car like hypertech programer or does it just read out data?

It only reads and displays PCM modes. This does not have the capapbility to "tune" or othrwise upload any data. But, this is a very useful tool and a must for built motors.
