Just wanted to say that I just got done replacing the PS window motor and it was a snap. Turns out the guy that had the car before me replaced it once, and it already had the holes and rivits drilled out.

how hard is it, my window has been messing up, i dont think its the motor though, it seems the rivit that held the top of the motor in place came out, so i put a nut and bolt in its place but it seems like that might be messing up now too. If you get a new one, does it come with the hardware to install it? How much are they? did you take pictures when u did the install? I looked at it, and can't figure out for the life of me how it would come out, seeing how its hard enough just to get my hands behind there.2006 GTO Impulse Blue Metallic, Blue Leather Interior

It's simple to replace. It takes about 30 minutes to do.
Here are the directions I used:
http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html
They are $50 from autozone, and come with all the hardware you need.
The easiest way to get to the motor is to take the speaker out of the door.

When you decide to do the work, just follow that link in the previous post. Even though most of the work was already done for me, that guide was a great reference. It's actually real simple to remove. All you have to do is unsecure it from the 3 locations from the guide (with a saftey support on the window, just in case) and slide it out. The hardest part of the job (wich wasn't bad) is aligning the new motor. Just be sure to note the holes that the old motor used and use the same ones on the new motor. 1 person job, took me like 45 min from start to finish.'95 White Z28 M6 Cold air intake with K&N air filter, air foil, flowmaster cat-back, eaton posi, motive 4.10s, aluminum driveshaft, "skip shift" eliminator, '97 Z28 chrome wheels, hypertech programmed
