so I solved the mystery to my rocker stud problems and now after I did all of the valve lash adjustments and put the valve covers on and was about to do the intake and carb when I found this sheet lying on the garage floor that said:
"These pushrods are not for use with guildplates. They are not heat treated and will wear through at the contact point"
AHHH! so now I have to tear everything apart and start over with different pushrods cause I have guild plates and refuse to delete them!
and whats worse is that I can't find HARDENED pushrods of stock length for a small block chevy, a family of the most common chevy engines ever, how strange is that?
