  • wats a good price to pay?

I found a 1987 camaro 5.0 tpi thats in super nice condition, paint is flawless, rims/tires are flawless, interior is flawless, 5 spd overall the car looks like it rolled out of the paint booth yesterday and everything else was taken care of yesterday do u think $4800 is a good price to pay for this car. the guy has the original sales paper thingy

Yeah, how many miles? I think you should probably get the seller to lower it some. I think that is a little too high for an 87, but if it's got low miles, hasn't been molested (like most 3rd gens), and no rust, then it is worth about $4800.

Make sure you check for rust. Also, is it a hardtop car or a T-top car?

Last year I sold a mint 88 Iroc 5.7 for 4,000. It had 88K on it, all original. It was show worthy, and I had a hard time finding a buyer even at that price.

the price you listed is too high. Dont pay more than 4.

That seems a little high. I just got my mint 96 six speed - stock, not a thing wrong with 78k miles for $6k even.

I'd say around $3k tops, or shop around some more.

              really???? 6K????

              Personally, I love 3rd gens...and if it's perfect, I don't mind paying 4K+...anywhere in the 4's I don't mind dishing out for a sweet example...

then again, any f-body that perfect...I don't mind paying extra for...

Is everything original??? If it is..that's an extra plus.

Yeah dude, $6k even. It's perfect. Had to take a train 300 miles to get it, but it was well worth it. Even has T-Tops! Score!
